Round 1: February 1 (Summer)
Mary Gavigan is 25 / Nathan Gavigan is 27 / Isaiah Gavigan is 5
No one told Mary marriage was this hard. When her husband she cheated she thought that was the end of her world, but when it went public because it was an office sex scandal she knew she was going to die of embarrassment. That day she had asked her husband for a divorce. He had pleaded and begged and wore her down until she agreed to give it one more shot. That one more shot resulted in her moving to the middle of no where and giving up her career as a teacher. All was fine though if she could make her marriage last.
Isaiah had noticed his parents acting weird lately. They were more touchy feely with each other and went on a lot of dates. It didn’t bother Isaiah that much but it could get a little embarrassing at time, so he preferred to stay in his room and play with his toys
During the town meeting Cheyenne approached Nathan about the job as Architect. At first Nathan wasn’t feeling it, he knew nothing about building houses but the way Cheyenne pitched the idea to him made him more willing to do so.
Life out here was hard without running water and electricity. Nathan was hoping to change that with a little hard work. With a baby on the way he needed to get his ass in gear and fast.
The round ended with Mary painting away her feelings. She was excited for this baby, more then anyone, but she just didn’t feel like this was the right time. Her and her husband were just getting back to being nice to one another, a baby would only make that tougher. She just didn’t need the stress on top of everything else.. The Mayor had approached her too, she wanted her to be the banker. Mary had no experience but she had already said yes. Now with a baby on the way could she really do both?
